At just 14 years old, Allie is one of the youngest designers on season 2 of Project Runway Junior. Known for her "classic-y but with a retro-vibe" style, Allie's technical abilities and creative styles make her a standout this season. Tim Gunn has complimented her work and says "Allie, your tailoring is impeccable!" Allie's signature style can be found in the statement sleeves and floral fabric of her first look, to the custom graphic design and flawless fit of the skirt of her second look, to a fierce Avant Garde look which was a top contender, and then another top contender in her day-to-night look which was a reversed wrap dress paired with cigarette pants with a petal hem.
Allie began designing for her first client, Barbie, at the tender age of six. Her mother recognized her love of art before she turned two and encouraged her through daily arts and crafts projects. Entranced by her mother's sewing machine, she began designing and sewing for her dolls and then for her sister and herself. She quickly outgrew her sewing teachers and eventually taught herself anything she couldn't find on YouTube.
Today Allie sews custom commissioned pieces for her clients. Her eye for detail and ability to tailor and fit clothing is impeccable, which is why her clients come back again and again. She has designed and created pieces worn to NYFW and LAFW. She is currently working on a collection to show in February of 2017...location TBA.
In addition to being dedicated to her craft, Allie is the oldest of 5 kids, loves to hang out with her best friends, plays the violin, loves to ride her Ripstik, listens to '80s rock, binge watches Star Wars and Marvel, enjoys hummus and chips, and finds Joy in her faith.
